Our Qualifications

GEC staff are fully trained in asbestos awareness, sampling and abatement, mould consulting and water loss remediation. Selected accreditations held by GEC staff include U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Certified Asbestos Management and Training, Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) Water Damage Restoration Technician, IICRC Certified Applied Microbial Restoration Technician and Canada Mortgage and Housing Commission (CMHC) Mould and Water Loss Awareness Training. We maintain a current technical document database of asbestos, mould, and indoor air quality literature, including federal and provincial regulations, guidelines and codes of practice.

Our Network

GEC has excellent working relationships with accredited laboratories in Ottawa, Mississauga, Guelph and New York that provide accurate, fast and economical analytical services. In addition to our in-house expertise, GEC consults with internationally recognized environmental health and safety experts to gain a full and unbiased understanding of the issues facing our clients.
